Top Four in the Prem, still unbeaten, Top two in their CL group, all this without their two main men, Toby and Harry. Unbeaten in 10 games in the top division now, last time they were unbeaten after 10 games with 20 points, Spurs went on to win the double, could this be a guide of what is to come?
CL this week in front of what will probably be another record English crowd for a club team. Can it get any better. Sure a trophy or two would not go amiss, but I am sure they will come over the half a dozen years or so, as this young team develops.
All looking good for THFC as it stands, although some are still grizzling, doubt they have ever had it better in their Spurs supporting time, but hey ho that`s the nature of the beast, cannot please everybody.
Three London Derbies on the horizon, cup finals for Arsenal, Chelsea and West Ham. Should be at full strength for those games, so would expect a healthy points return to keep up the title challenge.
Onwards and upwards as they say, enjoy the rest of your weekend fellas.
Spurs are doing rather well

Agree Sandy taking a player of Kane's quality out makes a huge difference, he's a natural goal scorer and arguably would have turned some of them draws into wins.

I am sure when Harry comes back, we will see a different picture. Losing a player who has been in the top two for goalscorers in the Prem last two years is a massive miss,

Absolutely not, Kane is just the player though that would turn the draws into wins on most occasions. Spurs have plenty of fine players aside from Kane.

The thing to point out tho is that we had WON all those ten games back then when a victory earned two points. Nice spin tho Sandy.

Sorry 'bout that. Just feel our younger supporters should be told the truth.

Hi Sandy,
Greetings from St Thomas in the Us Virgin Islands, sitting here with a Carib beer enjoying the 34c temperature.
Unfortunately not able to catch yesterday's game due to being at sea. How did we play and we're we lucky to get a draw or was it the other way around?

Genius
You obviously are enjoying the good life, have a good one.
To be honest I didn`t watch yesterday`s game, still to watch the highlights on match of the day. Apparently reading the reports, and what other supporters are saying, usual thing bossed possession, without looking overly dangerous, went 1-0 up with a dodgy pen, and then proceeded to let Leicester back in the game with a soft penalty, hit the woodwork twice, Jansen played OK, scored the penalty, but obviously missing Kane big time.
CL this week, with the Arsenal at the weekend. I won`t let you know next week`s score, don`t want to spoil your holiday. Some of the opposition fans on here could do with going to the Virgin Islands.

Hoping to catch the Arsenal game on satellite tv on board the ship.
I think we have dominated possession in most of our games, but as always it is goals that win games and we are light in that department currently.
This is no slight on Janssen, but rather a comment on others that should be stepping up to the plate, Eriksen, Lamela & Son primarily.

I must take the wife on a few of these exotic trips, very rarely travel outside England now, other than the odd European trip to Brussels, Paris or Amsterdam.
Problem is I travelled the world to all four corners of the globe in my younger years, and used to really enjoy it. Worked hard and played even harder so to say. But I don`t find foreign travel so appealing now with all the rules and regulations. It all seems a bit sanitised. Having said that the missus wants to go to New York for a few days early next year, so will probably relent on that one, I have been to the States, but never to New York, so I suppose I really should, that is if Trump lets me in.

In Antigua now Sandy, sipping a beer and using their free wi-fi, the ship charges are a complete rip off, hence the intervals between posting.
