SamI Hyppia is the latest name to show an interest in the job at molineux.
Another one throws his hat into the ring.

When you have an understudy/assistant coach given the job after the head coach has gone, it's not surprising that the style of football remains the same. We had it with TC, now RE.
He may well go on to be a good manager, but what we need is a change of playing style and fresh ideas that suits the squad we have.
My opinion that we brought in too many players at once still stands and tough decisions are going to have to be made by whoever comes in, if we're even remotely thinking of a play off place. I do believe we have too big a squad right now and WZ was unfortunately given too many players to assess in such a short time.
I think January needs to be a clear out of some players, who are not showing signs that they can take us to the Premiership. Harsh maybe, but sentiment needs to go out the window.

Its a difficult one, because Rob Edwards is young in coaching terms and will have been led by the tactics of a head coach. Jackett lost the plot last year with his tactics, albeit his hands were tied a little.
Did RE work fully under direction from him or did he have a massive influence over the way the team played? Rumours following Zenga's sacking suggest he was maligned by Butti and the rest of the coaching staff; so you have to ask how much of an influence he has had over style.
If he is told to coach certain methods he is going to coach them. If he is coaching the wrong things, but doing so under direction; it doesn't make him a bad coach. I am not sure we will really see what his own ideas are until we see him given a proper run as a manager somewhere. I don't think two games in charge is enough time for him to make any drastic changes, so we will learn little with this brief spell.
He would probably benefit from working as an assistant under a more reputable manager to be honest. Whether that will be Lambert or whether he will need to move on remains to be seen.

Fair points Tam. Must admit at the games it often seemed to me that Zenga was being lead by Edwards when it came to formations and subs etc.. But you are right in saying relationships were breaking down between the 'new three' and the English back room staff.
Time will tell with Edwards, he is young and still learning, and maybe tomorrow he will show with his team set up that he learned something from last week

Fact is that last week he had an opportunity to say 'well this is what I can offer' and then went on to deliver exactly the same negatively minded garbage we seem to be now accustomed too.
He had nowt to lose and would surely have realised he had very little chance of actually taking the job so why not give them what they likely want and play with four of 'thier' guys in the front four positions and attack.

In his playing career Rob Edwards played a few games on loan at Norwich. Their manager at the time was Lambert

The most sensible thing you have posted since comparing the quality of call of the yellow breasted reed stalker with the willet.

On route as we speak and the bus is as grubby as the bus to Southampton way back when.
