Think positive please!

Good morning from a balmy Antigua🏝

Reading through some of the recent posts from some, you would think we were down with West Ham at the wrong end of the table. No we are in 5th spot, 3 points off the top of the table.👍

I know we haven't really shown exhilarating form (except for City game) however that surely is good in a perverse way. Being this close to the top spot, unbeaten is something to be positive about in my book.

Once we have both Kane, Dembele and Toby back fit we will be much more formidable and dangerous.

Three tough games coming up starting tomorrow night with Leverkusen at Wembley. Then its two derby matches v Aresenal and Chelsea. Now we all know form rarely comes into it with matches against our neighbours, so it just remains for us to hope the players get themselves in the right frame of mind for these games.

That is Poch's job and I am confident the he and his team will do this well.

We are in a patch of bad form, which all teams go through.

If I take anything away from the unbeaten run it is that we still do not lose even when we are not playing well, and there are fine margins between those draws becoming wins.

We have a lethal centre forward to add to this side, fit imminently, who we have not seen any of this season due to form and injury.

Despite all this, no side has managed to put more than 3pts daylight between us. Whether they have a free week to prepare for games or not

My example wasn't strange or stupid don't cry

You compared last season with this - so did I. Nowhere did I suggest the absurdity of having 32 points from 10 games. That's called a strawman.

As for sandy I'm not sure if your last post was directed at me (I presume so) you are simply waffling. How am I unrealistic?

My post was not directed at you in particular, but all like you that think somehow Spurs should be 10 points clear at the top of the table.

WTF is waffling about saying it how it actually is, three points of the top, 20 points accumulated. It is you that is waffling mate, not me.

Ffs everyone on this unbeaten hype like it's been some epic journey; it's 10 league games of which 5 were draws. Too many draws last season and we're following the same vein now. Where's the progress? Our fans love to LAA for stagnation yet we've yet to show any progression so far.

But it's also 5 wins and no defeats

We are due either a win or dare I say it a defeat.

Can't really call the match on Sunday, derby matches are different, especially v the Gooners!
