Drawing Conclusions

Much has been written recently about the various merits of the current top 4 in the Premier League along with the team, sitting - unbeaten - off the pace in 5th spot.

Being unbeaten is fine, but If you draw too many games you won't win the title.

I was interested to note that since the start of last season, Tottenham Hotspur have drawn more games than any Premier League team: 18.

The fact is, this figure of 18 drawn games is a worrying statistic for a club - and it's followers - with aspirations of being genuine title contenders. Think of all those dropped points

No team is perfect, no team produces faultless performances.

But if a team plays in a style more conducive to scoring goals, with creative players given the platform to express themselves as opposed to a team set up to predominantly prevent them, the forward thinking, progressive team will win more football matches.

Draws kill a title charge stone dead. Unbeaten, fine. But you need to WIN to be winners!!

YNWA.

Last season you muppet apart from that City have been a joke in the CL. Spurs were a breath of fresh air and were scoring goals for fun in the CL. Not to mention Gareth Bale making a name for himself. Laugherpool

Not to mention the amount of times CIty have qualified and it took them just last season to actually make any impact atleast Spurs made a good go at it and were impressive in our only CL season.

Why are you laughing at last season in once sentence and then belittling our failure to reach Europe in another. Last season is either relevant or it isn't.

You are a mess man.

Got Better has wound you up so tight you can't cope with the fact that we are now better than you.

Went well at Wembley tonight.

Discussion on the radio highlighted the lack of creativity, dearth of real quality in final third and absence of a cutting edge up front.

Which brings me back to my article.....

....this type of performance has led to too many dropped points so far this season.

The largest crowd for an English team in the CL left early and booed at the end.

Spurs are entertaining in the CL

So.

Another draw.

Ffs, even Mourinho Utd won a game and scored more than 1 goal.

Another draw!

Another game without scoring from open play!
