Danny Ings

has suffered another knee injury. Out for the season. Again.

Gutted for him.

A confession. I was thinking the other day about injuries, who could be struck down with them, what effect it would have on the player, the team, etc. For me, Danny Ings didn't come in to the equation, I mean, he's been injured, it can't happen again to him ...

My thoughts were about the front 5/6 players, and losing one or more of them to injury (or transfer, esp with the boys from Brazil).

Tragic though it is, with Danny being low in the pecking order, Sturridge, Origi, even Ojo and Evaria, from their different positions beginning to shine, I don't envisage any buys, panic or otherwise, come January.

It's still a tragedy for the boy though, and I hope he makes a full recovery.

To my fellow Reds: the idiot, allegedly and I stress allegedly a supporter of football of Wolves is to be pitied. He's not very well, is he?

Poor wee thing.

Horrible news, gutted for him.

I have serious doubts whether he will ever be able to fulfill his early promise after the seriousness of his injuries.

That's crap news. Apparently thee kind of injuries reoccurring in the other knee after someones already had one are more common than you'd think. Debates about whether players favour one legs after they've done their ACL are pretty common.

Big shame for a talented young forward. Hopefully he'll recover and still have a career at the top level. He showed he had the ability to be a premier league players a few years back imo.

Gutted for him.

Wish him a speedy recovery but, as has been mentioned, with his series of similar injuries you've got to worry now for his longer term prospects
