Despite getting beaten by Real Madrid at the semi final stage, City comfortably earned more than Madrid from UEFA for the whole CL campaign.
£76M is a whole shedload of money and is one of the reasons City's next accounts should show a dramatic increase in profits. Certainly, turnover could show an increase of well over £50M.
If an English club wins the CL this season, they could earn themselves over £100M from UEFA.

City v Celtic should be a huge money-spinner, especially if both sides have something riding on the game.

Not surprised they did last season. I don't think an English team will win the CL this year. Obviously Man City, Arsenal and Leicester have a good chance of going further in this competiton. Good to see English do well in Europe again.

Silly money but it paid for Gundogan nearly 3.5 times, or a bit over 3/4 of a lesser performing midfielder, had City chosen to sell some shirts.Joking apart, it does show the sense behind the business plan of investing heavily in the early days of the takeover with the rewards coming both on and off the field now and in the future.

We'll earn over £30m from this years campaign in the CL.
Incredible money for us and equivalent to something like 30 odd percent of the clubs entire value
