The Famous 4

King, Okazaki, Albrighton and Simpson.

They should all start at the weekend.

It's a shame but I cannot be more disappointed with Musa and Amartey last night. Wayward passes, odd positioning and poor decision making repeatedly resulted in both of them giving the ball away and putting us under pressure.

Hernandez doesn't do much wrong and he has a wicked throw, but he always looks a little shaky defensively. He makes me nervous, like when Morgan and Huth are trying to play football at the back, but all the time!

Schlupp just looks like he stopped bothering to even try, and I'd happily see him leave in Jan. He looks like he's already left. How on earth he and Musa got the nod over Albrighton last night I do not know!

All but Schlupp may come good. But right now, they are not good enough to be first choice.

Bring back the famous 4 at the weekend. I think claudio will bring them in, except maybe Musa will continue to get a chance to fustrate.

Gray must really not be impressing in training to not get in also. Is he really that bad defensively?

Would you bring the famous 4 back in?

Ps. Well done Fuchs on your MOTM performance last night. Oozed class and the only real player that performed. Good man. King, Okazaki, Albrighton and Simpson.

I think we are at that stage now where the Premier League has taken slightly more importance over the CL, with hindsight we could have gone for it and qualified last night but a clean sheet and a point away there was still an excellent result.

I'd expect some of the Fab 4 back in this weekend, maybe rest Mahrez unless he's going to work through it.

I was listening on LCFC but wasn't Morgan Drinkwater Huff giving the ball away a lot also?
Grey has talked himself out of the team and CR went for a draw last night italian style and given the opposition record got just what he wanted imo

The whole team were giving the ball away Nev, it was poor from back to front.

Gray obviously isn't doing it in training so he needs to do what Musa has and put the extra effort in and then he'll be rewarded. Same with Kaputska.

Copenhagen did a really good job I. The first half of pressing our midfield and back line which resulted in Morgan, Huth and DD giving the ball away.

But, that's when you need your midfield and strikers to create an outball. They were not. They were doing anything but.

And, whilst those above have the ball away under pressure, Musa, Amartey and Mahrez were just giving it away for fun with nobody near them!

As Copenhagen began to run out of steam we got a bit more space but we need to be ready to help Vardy and Drinkwater when teams press us.

Felt very very sorry for Vardy last night.

It was a good defensive performance away from home and a great point, but that shouldn't mask a few individual stinkers that were had by some.

Spot on as usual ( well nearly as usual )
I thought Copenhagen completely bossed the first half and we allowed them to. They had a game plan to stifle any attacking intent we had and it worked, all they missed was a goal to top it off.
As a unit we certainly looked devoid of intent, and creativity for the majority of the game and ( as much as most of us couldn't believe we would be saying this ) we really need Kingy back against the Baggies on Sunday.
Having an extra days rest before the next game I think will see our full strength team start, and the 4 players you have mentioned will come back in.

On a side note it is now becoming abundantly clear that myself and a number of my fellow Foxes are getting completely exasperated by the performances Schlupp has been putting in when called upon this season. Last night was another prime example, I really wouldn't lose any sleep if he never wore the shirt again. His head is gone and he obviously doesn't want to be here, so if I was CR i wouldn't pick him for the bench again and then attempt to move him on in January.

Anyway lets be pleased we are still unbeaten and yet to concede a CL goal this campaign.

Agreed. Many terrible performances last night not least Schlupp, Musa, Mahrez, Amartey, Drinkwater (for the most part). No idea how we came away with a point. If Copenhagen had their shooting boots in it could have been 3 or 4
Still they didn't and we got a very nice point

I was in Copenhagen for the game and - perhaps bizarrely - thought Schlupp was OK. He terrified the living daylights out of their team when he ran at their defence and was successful in taking the pressure off our back line when he did. Ok - he had no end product but I don't think he was any worse than the others.

All things considered CR came for a point and whilst it wasn't pretty we go what wantedm

First of all I’m disappointed that we haven’t got any views from the AFC Telford fans on this thread.

On the subject itself I’m 90% in agreement. It’s amazing how some of these players have suddenly become really appreciated when we’ve seen what we’re like when we rotate the team. A year ago could you envisage many fans calling Simpson, Okazaki and King out as integral players. The one that surprises me personally the most is King. I thought he might be phased out this season, but is very deservingly back in the frame.

I say 90% agree simply because I wonder whether we should keep Musa in the side. I’m still very uncertain about him, but wonder if it’s in our best interests for him to continue his education in the Premier League as, especially after two goal scoring performances, confidence should be high. Albrighton’s overall game currently brings more to the table than Musa’s, but I’m just thinking of the future and whether Musa will eventually justify the price tag. Albrighton’s crossing ability will also not be missed quite as much if Slimani and Ulloa are absent from the starting eleven as seems likely.

I think we should continue with Musa too but out wide not up front.
