our next captain

We resurfaced a few hours ago after waiting in vain for the Nkoreans to do their thing, Its either our intelligence was awry or they knew we were lurking. As I sit in a dreamy bar, nursing a beer, I let my mind wander a bit. Who is going to replace Terry, who would Conte prefer? Ironically, its comparable to my situation at the dept, my boss is retiring next month, I'm not the most senior employee but I'm certainly among the most qualified, especially after a series of successful expeditions in the last decade or so. I'd certainly like to be at the helm next year, with my hands on the wheels, looking across the horizon and everyone else following my lead. But who knows, with the emergence of Trump, we might be reassigned or dismantled entirely, not totally unexpected anyway, most of the lads want a change, we feel Obama not decisive enough and Hilary could be worse, their strategies have got us nowhere, Nkorea now has nukes and Iran could be next, not to mention the Russians pushing us around and this talk of bringing in more Islamic refugees is scary.

Anyway, So do you think Conte will pick the most senior first team player or will he opt for the most qualified or most suitable, who would you pick?

Costa or Azpi

Azpi doesn't strike me as a leader, as for my work, I'm not sure I'd be selected, my bosses will prefer me in the field for the next decade, that I'm sure of.

Got to be Luiz really.

I think Costa is a bit of a leader on the pitch, but I don't think he can be relied upon really.

Costa could be a good leader, but Luiz is born to it, he is a natural.

Has to be Luiz. Big NO for Costa, need to keep him away from the ref as much as possible.

Will be Cahill if he's still here.

If not, then Luiz.

Cahill has been the captain in Terry's absence. I think it'll be him if he performs like he has recently.
