Which player from the modern era..

Would you add to our current team? Take into account what we are currently missing or which individual would benefit the team most? Purely because there seems to be tumble weed about the board during boring international football!

5* Ginola
4* Klinsmann
3* Van der Vaart
2* Davids
1* other PL era Spurs signing

Yeah the reason I selected the four mentioned players in the original post - was that all four were signed at a stage in their career peak years, having already made a name for themselves. In my eyes what we could be doing with atm. Bale, Modric, Berbatov, Carrick etc were signed for their potential.

On the subject....

Hard to see past Bale. I mean, Bale or Lamela is pretty much as easy a decision as you could imagine.

For entertainment it would be Ginola though. A joy to watch
