Anyone who didnt know this sort of thing was going on from a liberal left wing media chose not to put their brain into gear. Take the Brexit campaign for example. Channel 4 News only used footage from far right groups and passed them off as typical Brexit supporters. And in the US election we were only being fed pro-Clinton anti-Trump propaganda.

It remind me of when I was a union rep and the leaders of the union were making up lies to tell about Conservatives. They actually said that if they throw enough mud some will stick.

It seems to me that there is an extremist left wing in this country that has gone unchecked for too long. Things like the accusations that every Brexit supporter and every Trump supporter must be a racist, xenophobic, homophobic hate filled extremist is just completely untrue. The average person in this country is right of centre (as the aforementioned union told me repeatedly). They are being vilified by an extremist group who have been given free reign to do so. It must stop and we are seeing a backlash to it already. They are extremists, just as much as ISIS and fascists are extremists.

Unable to view YouTube in work but whether Trump (personally) is racist or not is not the issue.

His campaign was.

He has since recruited a white supremacist and anti-Semite as his chief of staff. An appointment which has been celebrated by white supremacist groups, including the KKK and the US N az i party.

I'm not by the way offering any support to HC, as she wasn't a great choice either.

WWSPD completely missed the point. It was the clear distorting of what was said by the left wing media. Taking something where he said that ISIS kill LBGT and he doesnt want those people and just playing the part that says he doesnt want those people so it sounds like all Muslims is a deliberate to make him look worse than he is.

Sikhs are known for their particular hatred towards muslims historically hence why their religion was formed.

No, racism can never be condoned, but nor can extremism in any other form. the vile lies the extreme left have been spouting is just as bad imo. They have clearly been targetting Christians and Jews are quite widely targetting by many left wing people as well. Even today I saw that a Christian couple had children they had fostered for 2 1/2 years taken away because they said they think the best family environment is a mother and a father.

Do you condone that?

What does the above have to do with this? I don't condone any of these but you've got to be joking if this is your justification for condoning racism and sexism and isolationism. The lies by the left wing made you back a racist, sexist guy? When have politicians not ever lied? Sounds like an excuse to me when the truth is that its Trump's vile rhetoric that struck a cord with his backers.

Society has always had these major flaws but this is the first time people are using these flaws to excuse away racism and justify backing a racist guy.

It's strange, I see so many comments about all these awful things the "extreme left" or "liberal left" are responsible for and how they're backed by a bias media... yet these examples are about the Clinton campaign and Blairs Labour - both of whom are about as left as my right testicle.

The actual left of which I think we can all agree the current labour leader J Corbyn is affiliated gets nothing but brutal biased press, over and over again. The centre right in his party keep trying to oust him despite the overwhelming amount of support he has from the public.

Then there's Sanders who is also more of a legitimate example of a lefty (particularly by American standards), he was essentially conspired against by his own party who are as mentioned by anyone with a basic grasp of politics - centre right, elitests.

I'm not saying Trump is not racist, but am saying yhe media edit the clips of his speeches to make him look like he said far worse than it was intended to be by cutting out key parts.

So let me put it lime this. Do you condone the BBC and others taking speech where he said ISIS kill gaays and he doesnt want them (the gaay killers) in his country and making it look like he said he does not want any muslims in the country, which is not what he said?

I didn't call anyone a racist. However, being racist and backing an openly racist guy are the same thing.

I don't agree that the media edit his clips. That's vile. Still, it won't make me back a racist guy.
