He literally cannot do any worse in tournaments.

Not official yet but it's being widely reported that there's a contract on offer after the Spain game.

Seriously?
Failed at Middlesbrough, give him the England job

Club management and international management are completely different. Coleman for example failed at the likes of Coventry and Fulham, done alright for Wales though. Whereas good club managers like Ranieri and Capello flopped at international level.

I don't care about England anymore, even the game on Friday night didn't interest me. But the international game is just a bore in general barring the tournaments. I blame all the qualifying groups littered with no-hoper teams and a lack of eye-catching fixtures. The fact a team as average as England can go unbeaten for so long in qualifiers says it all. They should have pre-qualifying rounds for teams like Malta, San Marino etc.

It's nothing to do with qualifying groups or weaker teams, it's all about money.
If you pay these guys what they earn at their clubs, say £100-300k every game and award massive prize money for winning the Euros or World Cup, then you'll see some pride in "playing for the jersey".
Modern sport is all about the money.

Did a decent job with U21's so the natural progression for him is to get the big job.
Obviously this has been fast tracked due to Fat Sam's antics, don't really see what the issue as I don't think the FA will be able to attract anyone half decent at the moment as most decent managers are in jobs.

pointless even worrying about it....we'll qualify & then feck up when the tourno comes round
Sports Direct will have a huge run on england merchandise for two weeks...then have a liquidation stock sale
standard practice
