Gio - Stevie said positive things in his book about BR and his coaching methods etc. Danny is referring to the lack of offer of a longer contract which was disappointing for Stevie (presumably BR wasn't the only one involved in that decision)

Therefore both points of view are not necessarily contradictory.

Either way, most of the posts from Tims on here and on Social Media generally have been fairly ambivalent at the prospect of SG signing. IF BR wants him, and he comes. fine - if not, then no one will be heart broken - which makes the OP on this thread somewhat daft - making out that we'll all be devastated if SG goes elsewhere
