Started writing this at 75th minute.
This will be a similar season to plenty that have come before. Faack around during the transfer window, have a sthite opening day game then pick up enough to give fans hope until the clocks go back. Then come some utter turgid displays and we lose ground to the leaders with the cherry on the top being a rubbish display at one of our historical rivals.
Today was crap from minute 1 just like the spurs game. You cannot tell me that losing Santi makes this entire team look like ours their first time playing together. Lineup was wrong. Went for the safety of Elneny and Coquelin but I would have started Xhaka instead of Elneny. Sanchez is very good but he is not a striker. Yes he has scored but it really takes away from out midfield and with his tendency to drop deep, means there is often a lack of a focal point up top. Ozil..I am a big fan...was shtte. No passion, no hunger to stamp his authority on the game and often looked frustrated. Most of the players were flat though. No pace on wings, no creativity in MF and no one made de Gea work.
And here's my biggest issue...why do we wait till 70+ mins for a sub??? Utter ridiculousness. Changes at half time are never done. We just scored which is even more galling. Why did it take so long to adjust the personnel for us to looked awake??
All in all, we are still far too inconsistent to win the league. The games vs spurs and Utd have shown that we cannot beat a competitive team on a much needed regular basis.

Exactly, I’d have taken a point at Ot vs Jose at the start..and we got it.
\Wenger did make fool of himself but a point gained is a good result.

First away point against a Mourinho side in donkeys years.
Completely undeserved point against United.
I'll take the result.
But the performance was wholly unacceptable.

5 minutes before the United goal, I was begging for Giroud to come on (admittedly for Ramsey rather than Elneny)
Was it brave of Arsene to bring on Ox as RB for the last few minutes or desperation?

suppose you got to give it to Wenger for the OX wing back move, would not have seen that one coming in a million years.

No doubt the result is welcome based on performance, but bigger picture, I think we are in trouble. And I cannot put my finger on it. We have 14 players who on paper are very good. Yet somehow, we still find a way to play terribly in crucial games. I mean the NLD...what more do you need to get you up for that game? But we were so flat. Old Trafford vs mourinho...again, what more do players need to put in a shift.
I understand bad days, but I don't understand the lack of effort. The times I was yelling at the tele for players to put in a tackle, put pressure and not stand 5 yards away doing nothing was insane. Makes me believe the issue is coaching (tactics/in game flexibility)

I think it was more a case of chucking the kitchen sink...lose by one or 2 does not matter. If he did that at nil nil, I'd eat my wooly winter hat!

I really dont care about what people say but for Arsenal ramsey is utter rubbish and i sincerely doubt he will ever hit that peak ever again
