FACTS.

As many will say I know nothing.....

My view was we showed them too much respect, we had a young midfield that at times was too controlled by the opposition and we made too many unforced errors all over the pitch.

I don't think we're that bad, there were signs that we can give the better teams a fight. Bring back the quality players missing from yesterday and we've half a chance.

Disappointing result because we weren't at our best and a bad mistake had us on the back foot for the remainder of the game.

I think it was simply a case of a: them being better and b: a few of our players freezing on the day.

Green was like a rabbit in headlights at times. Bad kicking and that error meaning defenders on edge.

Viera seemed overawed. He's gonna be great and will learn from yesterday.

Adrenalin can work against you at times and I think the occasion got to a few.

All over the pitch they were better but take away Green's error and give us that penalty and it's a different game.

No need to get worried. We are good enough to get in the top six when you look at the other teams around us.

Move on to Rotherham now. Three points will be on offer 👍

We were up against a side where one of their players probably cost more than our squad combined.

It was a defeat, probably if we're honest a predictable defeat, against the best side in this league for a number of years. No time to start burning bras or jumping off bridges. Chill out and move on to the next game.

As for our recent run being lucky against poor sides or those in turmoil ..... get real. You've still got to beat them and recent history is littered with Leeds sides who've lost those types of matches. Time to give the squad and manager some credit - we've done well and the league position reflects that. We all want more though ..........

Like said, we should move to the next game and see what comes!..

I wonder what we'll be saying if we hold Liverpool to just 2 goal's, we can expect a hell off a lot more from them but if we lose by 2 it'll be a case off the lads did us proud!..

We've just played a team with a lot off Premier hardened player's, and some others that have yet to play them will have it harder!..

Here's hoping we can pick ourselves up after this one and hopefully a good result in the next game will set the Liverpool game up for a thriller!.
