Yup Spurs lose and you make an article about them.

Classic Arsenal fan syndrome.

No I support a club that actually wins trophies. What's that now, no trophy in 5 years for Liverpool is it?

Spurs were shocking in the CL. Very insipid in almost all their games and looked totally out of their depth. Surprising really considering they are a good team.

Liverpool actually try to win trophies. 2 Finals last season alone

Granted it has been a fallow 3 seasons...

I'm not sure why Liverpool fans would be discussing Spurs. They haven't yet managed to make themselves relevant despite threatening to for a few years

Maybe they can raise their level, the jury is out and after a shambolic CL campaign you'd have to say what was the point of doing a decent job last season.

Last season was a strange one. With City, Chelsea and United falling off the cliff never had teams like Arsenal, Spurs and Liverpool a better opportunity to kick on, however they floundered leaving it to Leicester!

An amazing story but from the respective levels Arsenal surely would have been able to capitalise but again when the going got tough they wilted, Spurs gave the impression they might but overall their performance was top 4 level at best and Liverpool were completely inept

What you would say however is that Liverpool and Spurs have made significant changes to try and improve & elevate themselves with managerial and personnel changes. Arsenal have stood still. They look the same as they have for the last 12 years or so in terms of genuinely been a force to win the title or CL

City & Chelsea seem to be back this season so the job has got harder....who will rise to the challenge?
