Trippier's eye protection

Everyone would agree Trippier had a mare on Tuesday night and I have to think that mask cannot have helped him. He seems to be fiddling with it a fair bit (it must be uncomfortable or ill fitting) and more importantly, it has to affect his peripheral vision. His positioning was awful vs Monaco and so was his awareness. Mind you Rose's wasn't much better on the left flank.

What do you all think - was he (is he) just pants anyway and the eye mask is just an excuse, were the Monaco flying wing backs just too good for him, or should he perhaps not be playing until that injury, which was caused by a whack in the face during training, is healed?

I know mate. For years we've been saying if we were in the champions league we would be able to attract higher quality players and when we get in we do nothing.

Annonymous in America arranged a protest march on the 5th of November in protest of Donald Trump and Hilary Clinton. 3 Million turned up and marched the streets of new York wearing V for Vendetta masks. I see no reason why the spurs ja606 board cannot arrange something similar.
