Tough times ahead, but at the right time

We have recently just lost nearly all our main goal creators and scorers from the team (Coutinho, Firmino, Lallana and last but not least sturridge) and for me that has shown against Sunderland and Leeds imo, we have to hope that they are drip fed back into the team over the coming weeks.

Please don't take my article as a negative, we had everyone available when we had that tough start to the season and no disrespect to Sunderland or Leeds, but for me it was the right time for us to play those kinda teams.

However I think that we are gonna need at least 50% of our Main frontline back in the near future!

and oh was loving Woodburn tonight

I don't think it's a surprise we scored a goal from a cross with Origi in the side.

He attacks crosses very well, probably better than any of our other forward options.

If we can get Wijnaldum in the box attacking them too he scored a fair few of these type of goals for Newcastle, then that's another route to goals for us.

It's a shame this mini injury run has come at a time when Mane looks like he could do with a break. That said even a 70% Mane still works his nuts off and causes problems.

Firmino & Lallana will be available for the weekend.

Dry your eyes.

I'm not saying it's all doom and gloom, just saying it was the right time to have those injuries and we will need a strong performance at the weekend, so hopefully firmino and lallana are back and firing

For me, taking into consideration for all that went on last night, Trent A-A was my MOTM. He obeyed orders, stuck to his task, ran his heart out for the 90+ minutes, and when the time came, skinned their LB. yes, great night for Ben W, all the plaudits deserved, but Trent really did put a shift in. I'd rather he was further up the pecking order.

1man, well spotted. I've just got bored, and the non-Red wums have stopped taking the bait. Who did you think was more deserving of MOTM, Ben or A-A?

Lighten up Liverpudians! You are well positioned in the PL and the transfer window is just around the corner, if you need it.
