Well having had a PSVR for a while now, I thought I would pass on my experiences with motion sickness. As someone who suffers motion sickness in normal life, even with some games (Infamous 2 was really bad for me) I was convinced it would hamper my enjoyment.
Knowing all this I eased myself into VR, playing for short amounts of time trying out different demos, to see what affected me, I was pleasantly surprised to find I coped with most things, even DriveClub VR which was supposed to be affecting people ( although it was only 3 laps of the demo) it didnt affect me at all, the one demo I did play was Here They Lie, which did affect me, not as bad as Infamous 2 did but could definitely feel it, gave it ten mins and haven't touched it since.
So surprisingly I have coped pretty well, that was until I bought, Robinson The Journey, another game where you walk around like Here They Lie, I managed about 20mins before deciding to have a break, but this game cost me £50 so I wasn't about to give up on it.
So I have been dipping in and out every few days and it was getting easier, what surprised me was last night after I had just eaten some Pizza I gave it a go, convinced I would pay for my foolishness, I actually felt pretty good, I still only played for an hour, but my Pizza was still in and not out and I went straight into another VR game Headmaster (which is safe for anyone)
Suitably encouraged, I'm going to give Here They Lie another go, but it would appear you can get used to motion sickness ( as long as you dont push yourself too hard) and as far as Robinson the Journey is concerned pretty quickly, even Resident Evil 7 in VR may now be a possibility for me and I would never have thought that.
Hope I haven't jinxed it.
Update : just played through the Here They Lie demo, much better this time with no major problem, apart from being beaten to a pulp by some kind of pig man thing

My worry about playing resi 7 in VR isnt motion sickness, but being too terrified to progress throughout the game

I love Horror and it takes a lot to scare me, So Resi is right up my street, but yeah a lot of people wouldn't cope with Resi in normal play let alone VR

Yes Ronny as Simon says, you can play the game with or without VR, I might also point out it seems to be going a very different path, and comes across more Silent Hill than Resident Evil. which to me isnt a bad thing.
Also Simon I never actually answered your question about playing the First Hour Resi demo with VR.
Simple answer it isnt VR and can only be played on big screen.

Although thats how the demo feels Amiga it seems the 1st hands on are saying its very Resi 1/2/3 but in first person. I wont say anymore as I feel I have heard too much now and is a bit spoilery, want to go in as blind as possible, but if you like the first games you should love this.

To be honest Simon I have never played any resi, (although I do know what they are about)
I know nothing about the new game apart from the trailer and it has a VR option, other than that I really will be going in blind, so thanks for not spoilering.
