Defends the Champions League, since the current format came in to being?
A lot can happen between now and May and there’s a few teams that could win it if they get their game together.
But even though Barcelona are the team who should have done back to back by now, I have this horrible fear that the Real Madrid team consisting of that Grade A’ Hob-a-nob-a-nob will probably retain it and that self obsessed git will take all the credit.
Can you tell I don’t like Cristiano Ronaldo by any chance? Or have I achieved my desired subtlety?
Is this the season a team successfully....

Simeone is not the full ticket. When Beckham, prone and face-down on the ground lifted his boot and obviously smashed Simeone's leg in fourteen places rendering him crippled for life and able, ever to play football or even walk again for, oh, two, three minutes? I realised we had a tart in the making, and so it has proved.
Renaldo- get that person another mirror, quick, he needs to preen - despite the lack of a tight red dress, high heels, fishnet stockings, ruby red lips, etc., is a tart of the first order.
As a long admirer of tarts, feel on an increasing scale that he fails the audition, sadly.
I hope they both lose.

Think Barca have Reals number. Maybe even City could bet them IMO

Madrid have the better record in recent seasons. Though, since Suarez moved there it's two apiece.

Might be 3-2 this Saturday with Bale out

Could be, but your statement was still untrue. Barca have Iniesta back but he's not going to be match sharp so it could be a concern. Can see Real causing Barca a lot of problems if they press them up high.

They have got a chance, it's so hard to win though.
Teams in form now might not be the teams in form in March/ April time.
It's open really and I'd say any of these could win it:
Real
Atletico
Sevilla
Juve
Dortmund
Bayern
PSG
Man City
Then you have outsiders like Arsenal ahhaahahahaha who am I kidding

Barca obviously should be in the list too

righteous, don't think you're too far off with that list. But as you say form in March/April is the main thing and given that Atleti, Bayern, Barca and Madrid (the four most consistent teams in the CL over the last few years) haven't started the season at the level they're capable of it makes it appear more open now than it perhaps may be come then.

Man City for me ,especially after being thumped at home this weekend ,Pep will concentrate on the C/L .
