Good decesion, because, firstlly, he's only made one appearance for Watford thus defeating the purpose of the loan and secondly, he would slot in nicely into the system, also he will be competing with Alonso for the LWB position.
I am not sure why he didn't feature for any of our pre-season games, but it seems that Conte wants to make use of him, probably due to the change of the system there is a need for him in our squad now.

Think hes just back at chelsea because hes injured and doing rehab. Dont see anything in that article confirming it
