Interesting development in the Ronaldo v Messi debate. As it turns out, Ronnie is a tax dodging cuuunt as well then, siphoning 65 mil to the Virgin Islands . Which means both are tax dodging cuuuunts. So the Ronnie loverboys who were pulling the tax dodging card against Messi can now step off their high horse.
In this case it only comes down to footballing skills which means we can finally put this to bed
Messi >>>>>>>>>> Ronaldo
Messi is the GOAT
Tax dodger

Not sure what the issue is - We have a President that openly admits to dodge tax
I'm sure nothing will come off this.

At least he's honest about it, the system allowed him to do it so why not.

Messi did the same, just a bit too late, the rules had been changed. Yet Messi is a criminal and Ronnie isnt. Not fair

Tax dodging, who give a crap?
On football, Messi is superior to Ronaldo.

My thoughts, exactly, VC. What they do off the pitch takes nothing away from on field talent and the greatness of the footballer

Most people that are wealthy enough to employ someone to 'look after' their money will probably be paying a lower % of tax than the average man. Just the way of the world.
Creaming as much money for yourself will come before most moral obligations.
There's been a big tax 'fiddle' in the UK with investments into film companies hasn't there? Plenty of footballers that invested in them are now being made to pay back what they were wrongly advised to invest plus plenty of interest on top. I think Steve Staunton has recently been declared bankrupt because of it. And there's someone that invested 'only' £200k, that because of weird and complex tax laws, now has to find £2m in order to settle with HMRC.

Is it illegal to send money to the Virgin Islands? Isn't that just avoidance?

It isn't Messi haters. It is United fans who still think he belongs to us and can't let it go.
Anyone who has played the game or loves to be entertained will pick Messi above Ronaldo.

You could have just said "yes, I am nine years old".
Anyone who even thinks of footballers in terms of "hate" and "fanboys" is clearly prepubescent nob.
Add all the smiley faces you want, I guarantee you there is not a single person here above the age of 12 who is impressed with you.
If you think me taking 30 seconds to try to educate an immature child is indicative of some "obsession" then let me remind you who took the time to write this sharticle in the first place.
