I see our opponents from the 3rd round draw haven't been mentioned yet.
So, Preston away. In theory it should be a forgone conclusion, but, of course, we are Arsenal, so it'll all depend on our form going into January, and how healthy our squad is at that time.
Obviously, we want to win every competition we enter, however, if we are still in the mix for prem I would sacrifice this cup without issue. Less games played, less chance of half our 1st team being crocked.
What say you?

We get just as many injuries in training as we do in games tbf

True. I hope the lads are being careful opening their advent calendars too. Paper cuts could put some of our squad out for the rest of the season! 😂

Under Wenger, Arsenal's record against lower-league opposition in the FA Cup is ridiculously good. As in close to perfect good (just the one loss to Blackburn a few years back I think).
Nothing is a foregone conclusion, but to imply that we're likely to trip up in games like this because "we are Arsenal" is rather inaccurate.

I meant we are capable of complete collapses in games & seasons. Not specifically the Fa cup.
