I don't want to ramble on too much as I usually do, but just want to get some other SPURS fans thoughts lol.
What do you think of our overal squad? In recent times, (last 5-10years)I've always felt we have a really good squad on paper. Ok they used to always fack up whenever given a hance in the cups, but we could usually put up a first and second 11, and the second 11 looked good enough to be top 10 in the prem.
This season I think our squad is poo. Yes we have injuries, but the fact is just a couple of injuries absolutely decimates the team.
Winks should not be the number 1 back up in centre midfield. Hes good but is just a kid and is nothing specia IMO.
Alli should not be guaranteed first choice CAM. Again good but way too overrated.
Onomah should not be a consistent option from the bench.
I could go on but our bench is usually a goalkeeper and crap youngsters. It didn't used to be like this. We have no game changers or plan B's and if you look at the other big 5 teams in the prem, their squads/benches look amazing. Thoughts?

How do we define failure though?
Considering we identified those players as targets and didn't utilise them effectively.
I would argue only 2/3 of those were 'successful'.

Many of us wished we had still hung on to Siggy. Nobody is saying the same for Holtby and Adebayor.
I'm going for that definition of success/failure for now.

Yesterday afternoon I dropped my 5 year old son and his mother off at a kids party and settled down to watch the match. Half way through the 2nd half safe in the knowledge that we weren't going to score I went back to get him (early) as the prospect of watching him terrorising other children on the bouncy castle was better than watching another minute of the boring tedious dross we are currently dishing up.
