Don't get me wrong he has had some decent performances this season but on the whole it has been against poor opposition.
Once again, against tough physical opponents he went missing.
Yeah he can flick the ball, lay of a delicious pass and to his credit, score a few goals here and there but when the going gets tough he is nowhere to be seen.
I only hear the Ozil chants during games and honestly the guy seems to be immune to criticism or something because you will never hear a bad word spoken about him.
Take Sanchez for example. The guy runs his guts out and puts in a shift every game but you never hear the fans chanting his name. He is twice the player Ozil is and our truely elite player.
Ozil wasn't the only poor performer today. Walcott, Xhaka and Ox were all very average but just seen this type of performance by Ozil against decent teams way to often now and to be honest I don't expect much different on Sunday.
Ozil the untouchable

The way he strolls around looking sorry for himself pissses me off. Demanding so much money too. Frankly he can go do one.
And some people rate him as highly as Bergkamp...
Hope we sell Ozil in the Summer.

While I agree there are parts of his game which aren't good. His body language at times really annoys me but to say him alone never turns up for big games is unfair, take the United game was it solely his fault we didnt play well no the whole team didnt turn up and most of the time that is what happens against teams who get in their faces.
As it's said you don't know what you've got till its gone and those who can't wait for him to go will live to regret it.

Ozil only has 2 assists in 15 PL games this season.
Woeful for a "world class" player

carefully avoiding saying how many goals he has though!

Ozil ducking away from challenging Williams from the corner was embarrassing too and the German should feel ashamed. He cost us that game

Ozil's contribution to defending Everton's second goal was hilarious. Sure, he's a skillful player, not a defender, but if he is just going to stand and watch why is he even in the box at corners, let a lone 'marking' one of their biggest threats.

His performance (if you can call it that) at Old Trafford was the worst iv seen all season. He was awful.
He's great to have when you're 2-0 up and cruising but he's like a lamb to slaughter against a team with a bit of fight. All you have to do is give him a bit of a tough time and he doesnt fancy it.
