Costa scored 20 goals in 26 league appearances in his first season (0.77 goals per game).

Aguero 23 goals in 34 league appearances in his first season (0.67 goals per game)

This is Costa's 3rd season in the epl and it looks like he is on course to be the top goal scorer this season.

Even If you want to compare the stats like for like in the same season 2014/15, it is not a lot diffrent, though it was Aguero's 4th season in the epl.

Costa has had one good season and a half in the PL so far. Aguero has had about 4 and a bit. Costa may surpass Aguero and is right now having a better season, but longevity should come into it, at least for me.
