Why are we trying to sign this guy? He's a poor player 100%, not as good as Ozil, De Bruyne, Silva or probably even Coutinho. There are so many better attacking midfielders in the world. It seems like we're spending the Oscar money on this guy, but I'd rather we threw some more money on top of the 60 mil and went for Alexis or Griezmann, proper top class world class players instead of going after a second class player like James Rodriguez. Hell, I'd even prefer the likes of Marco Reus or Felipe Anderson to James Rodriguez. Where would Rodriguez even start for us? He wouldn't deserve a spot ahead of Pedro or Willian for sure.
I will be so upset if we sign Rodriguez. We just got rid of Oscuuunt, we don't need Oscuunt mark II.

Rodriguez could well come to the PL when Real sign Spazard in the summer. There will be a summer PL fire sale when Barca take Coutinho to bolster their squad also.

If we lose Hazard then we have to get Alexis or Griezmann to replace him. No one else will do. That being said I think Griezmann is Man Utd bound, so Alexis is the only one we could get. Neymar or Bale would be good replacements too, but I don't think we could get them. Bale maybe.
