I must admit I was extremely disappointed, as were many Spurs fans regarding our lack of much needed signings in the last transfer window. Most would have liked Cahill, another striker and possibly another right winger at the least.
However, the reasons for my optimism are for the following reason. The return and debuts of the players below will breathe a new life to the team, and will be a marked improvement on the squad compared to that of the two unfortunate losses in our last two premiership games.
Those yet to make their debuts and returning:
1. Ledley King
2. Emanuel Adebayor
3. William Gallas
4. Scott Parker
5. Sandro
6. Giovani Dos Santos
7. Iago Falque
...and dare I say a rejuvenated and focused Modric?
Sad but increasingly optimistic

Sounds like Ledley might get a run-out against Wolves
What about Pienaar?
I mean he's not a but he can play right wing

Lol you and that carrot....
Pienaar has yet to make an impression for me, I think he will be consigned to European and domestic up matches to be honest with you. He has good work rate, but looks ever so flimsy on the ball.
I'd like to see Lennon given a rocket up his backside and benched for a while and Dos Santos and Falque a run out on the right. I personally think they would have a bit more to offer than Lennon this season, as he tends to go missing a bit too much for my liking and doesn't demand the ball or seem to want it much when things aren't going well for him.

Pienaar's a hard-worker and looked quality at Everton to be fair. I don't particularly rate him, but he'll start in the league before Gio does - this is Harry we're talking about.

Exactly, it's like were missing the Core throughout our whole team and now were starting to get it back. What i mean is we have been missing a key Defender that will strengthen us at the back and it's looking like King and Gallas are on the way back, Were missing key central Midfielder and We have now Signed Scott Parker and also have Sandro ready soon, We were also missing that top class striker and now we have him in Adebaoyr.....It will be a breath of fresh air sat against Wolves and i praye we pick up the 3 points!! COYS!!

I think with VDV's injury it would just mean us playing 4-4-2 with Defoe up top, which is a big shame if you ask me, as I would like to see Krannie or Modders play in the hole
