We have the second best defensive recored, these guys are literally out best attacking options this season, and between them an obscene amount of distance has been covered this season.
The system helps, but we are seriously lucky to have these two. Best fullbacks in the league.

Starting to think your a little biased edin. Alder is definitely the best cb, but he has been injured, and has not doen it for aslong as azpi in the PL.
two best defenders, most definitely.

Hardly that biased, its not like I've said Kane is better than Suarez or something. Azpi wasn't that good last season, even though he was one of Chelsea's better players.
Alderweirled was exceptional for Southampton, came into a Spurs side with the third worst defensive record and turned it into the best.
I'm not taking anything away from Azpi I think he is outstanding at how well he can play LB/RB & in the back three. Which Toby doesn't have, I just don't think he is as good.

Now that's a perceptive comment!
Yes, Pochettino played as a central defender, but he would certainly have strong opinions about how full backs should play. He obviously influences Vertonghen and Alderweireld as well.
