Team News
Leeds United
Striker Chris Wood hopes to return from a hamstring problem, as does forward Pablo Hernandez.
Boss Garry Monk has said he is confident defender Charlie Taylor (Achilles) will be fit.
Preston
strikers Jermaine Beckford and Eoin Doyle back from suspension for Boxing Day
Both served three-match bans for fighting each other, but might have to wait for a recall with North End having taken seven points from nine in their absence.

Match facts
◾Preston have scored in each of their last 19 home league encounters with Leeds, last failing to find the net in April 1935.
◾Leeds have won three of their last five matches against Preston (D1 L1).
◾The Lilywhites are unbeaten in their last four Boxing Day games at Deepdale, keeping a clean sheet on three occasions (W2 D2).
◾Leeds last recorded a Boxing Day shutout in 2003 v Aston Villa in the Premier League.
◾North End have lost just two of their last 14 Championship matches (W7 D5).
Hopefully the Team will have had a nice relaxed Christmas and be ready to continue the good run we find ourselves on, but with Preston finding a bit of form recently SG will be looking to get this win , so I'm going for a 1-2 win for Leeds with Sacko and Woody hitting the net

Another excellent performance and points to match... fekin frustrating to see those above us keep winning too though...

I thought that was frustrating too Afridi but actually its probably best that the gap between 6th and 7th widens, it gives us a bit of a buffer.

Only 2 points between us and Reading next match is a massive imo. We need to beat Villa and ensure we go into January setting up a strong window.

As good as they have done so far still think Brighton could collapse at end of season. Not giving up on autos but if offered play offs now would snap your hand off.

Well, that's relegation snuffed out.

Just got home. Brilliant game, good performance and Leeds go marching on. Fantastic to see Hernandez back, even though he was rusty, he still made runs and found space our other players can't.

Garry & Pep now have to find a way to get Roofe & Pablo on the pitch at the same time while playing them
in and around that #10 spot. Don't know if they can?
I'd prefer Roofe not be on the left wing. He's more
dangerous central and closer to goal. Pablo just makes us tick. Amazing player at this level.
