Happy Christmas ππΊπ·π·π·π·πΊπ
So many corrections, Schisse .....so....
Derby have won just once in their last seven league games with Birmingham (D4 L2).
β Birmingham have found the back of the net in each of their last 14 away trips to Derby in league competition.
β Derby have won five of their last six league matches at home and are unbeaten during that period (D1) having lost the previous three in a row.
β Birmingham's Lukas Jutkiewicz has scored the most headed goals in the Championship this season (6).
Hic.....more tomorrow....I think....
This is getting more tense. Despite not losing in 8, we still won't even get into the top six on Tuesday if win. It's a case of 'who blinks first' as teams around us continue to perform and continue to frustrate our aspirations? What price that poor start now? And we can't keep up this run forever.
Derby could set a new record today if they keep a seventh consecutive clean sheet...
This'll be a tough one and a cold one..... wrap up warm and bring something to drink. My flavour of the day is Tullamore Dew which, at the moment is edging out Captain Jamesons and Bush.....what's yours?
Team news from someone please?
(Seriously, where is Mojaca? Did I miss something?)

Just back from Pride Park.
We were in control without really controlling it. Dominant without being domineering and complacent without the panache.
Slow build up, faffing about, passing sideways when the simpler option seemed to get it forward. The defence was immense, Keogh, Pearce and Baird. Anya impressed when he came back on. Midfield struggled to day dominate in the first half and BJ and Butters largely anonymous, however Hughes did his best to break up play and showed flashes that will take him up to £17m....
I love being where we are and the fact we WIN matches but once again, a better team than Birmingham would have punished us.
Birmingham fans? Most vocal we've had at PP this season π

Lucky win due to a homer ref'.

It was like Mick McManus strangling Jackie Pallo, definitely a pen. The only worry was whether Bent would put it in, but he hit it well.
How's your Christmas been at the Forest?

Well, after a slow start, I thought that was a really good performance actually. Totally in control before we upset our rythm slightly with 3 subs.
Never looked like conceding and played the football when we needed to.
Surprised to see some negative comments really

Slightly off the pace FIrst half due to us not committing and pressing enough,Spermingham kept a high line, but Stevie told them to Quicken up second half and push up the pitch, this then nullified Brums high tactic, and we finished comfortably by the end,oh and unless all in Wrestling is allowed in Football these days it was a stone waller pen.

Owd Benty making himself popular with half of Birmingham.

Thought Vydra would fill his boots with Brum's high line but he looked unfit and uninterested to me.
Butters was largely anonymous (what HAS Bryson done to be so out of favour?!!) but Hughes was pushed to his MoTM by BJ. Baird did great, the rest generally at 6/10 but Carson did everything he needed to do, notably with that great clearing header!

Game of two halves, looked sluggish although untroubled first half, dominant in the second.
Wish our defence wasn't so shaky, Kenny had us sussed π
