The first song my parents ever recorded on Top of The Pops was Marguerita Time by Status Quo. I have purchased a few "Quo" songs over the years including the one i mentioned.
And George Michael? Wow what a talent.
As silly as this is gonna seem i was 7 when Last Christmas was released. Watching the video to it, really thought the man singing the song was being dumped.
RIP
RIP Rick and George.

His songs bring back so many good memories
He may have died but his music never will
Hope you and your family are having a good Christmas flash

Never a fan of Michaels music but still tragic, that someone should die at such an age!
Rick Parfitt and Quo were more my thing but more in their younger days, I saw them twice, at the Odean Birmingham and and Cardiff Castle around 76!
RIP both

I remember the Marguerita time appearance on totp. If I'm not mistaken Quo deliberately mimed badly to make a point and then kicked over the drums. Is that right op?
