I'm sure many of you were watching the Watford game just now.
Would you take him for the reported £25 mill ?
He did look good today but spoiled all the good work by doing a Vardy late on
Tried to be clever but failed, Clattenburg is far too good a ref to fall for that.
Rightly yellow carded. Fortunately for us when Alli did it the ref was Moss. I just hate diving fullstop.
Zaha - thoughts ?

donald. zaha is much better than townsend who cannot even nail down a regular starting place in the palace side at the moment.

What's with the obsession for Townsend from people still?
He would just run and shoot, couldn't do anything else

zaha is a very average player and has never developed as he should of done. Has great physical attributes but lacks the footballing brain. His positioning is awful and his decision making is not much better. Our transfers have been some of the worst in the league in recent years this would not help at all.
Another player that quite clearly unless your blind does not fit our system. We play rigid, narrow tactically (one of the reasons i suspect we have struggled at wembley) Zaha plays wide. We would want him to constantly be coming inside to obvs keep the width for the full backs. Is he intelligent enough for this? Nope. Would that nulify his best attributes of pace? Yes.
You only have to look at N'kodou he does not get a chance because he does not fit the system. And he is bang average but to be honest he runs the touchline we simply do not want that, thats not how we play tactically.
I think the problem is Pochs plan c is chuck a wide man on but he has no idea how to use them we play one way regardless of formation. Hence why we sold all our wide midfielders/attackers.

No one is obsessed with Townsend. Chronic decided to have a dig at Spurs fans for not wanting Zaha I'm just saying he's another headless chicken like Andros.

I really hope not. To spend £25 million on a quick and powerful but technically and tactically limited 24-year-old would be a huge risk. There just isn't enough potential upside there to make it worthwhile.

Zaha is crap. Baffles me that so many of our fans are continuously keen for us to buy dross like he and Berahino yet expect us to improve

I think he has tons of ability, a great technical player but something is missing. He actually flatters to deceive, looks great but doesn't achieve anything as someone said earlier - lacks a footballing brain and doesn't make the right decisions.

5 months of being good after a few years of being dogshiiite isn't the least bit convincing enough for me to say we should sign him. Although if Poch genuinely wanted him I'd accept that.
He also doesn't get many goals and I don't think he's about to start now. Someone like Antonio who does appear to score more goals would be better. I'd want for my winger to get near the 10 goal mark for a season, not half that.

Wouldn't be a bad signing by any means. Good pace, can stay out wide when needed, can beat a full-back, and can deliver when opportunity arises. Certainly he looks to have improved.
Just personally, I would prefer to see more of N'Koudou before shelling out on someone like Zaha. With Lamela coming back (at some point) then neither would be a starter...we already have a £30m man on the bench, not sure we need a £25m man to keep him company.
If he carries on improving though, then could be / have been a good signing.
