It's been confirmed that Albert Adomah will not be in the Ghana squad for the African Nations tournament. Therefore he WILL be available for Villa during January and February. Great news!
Secondly, Dy Xia has tweeted that Villa have rejected a bid of £25m (presumably from Liverpool) for Jordan Amavi. This is fantastic news if true, as if we are to stand asny chance of promotion this season, thern we MUST keep our best players.
In short, great news from VP.

We've suffered for years through not filling the LB position. I'm glad we're hanging on to someone who is good there. Xia doesn't need the £25m anyway.

I'd be happy for Jordan to give us at least this season before leaving for bigger and better things. I'd be delighted if he stayed longer but I guess that would depend on promotion anyway. Yes £25m is an incredible price but we reportedly paid £9-10m for him anyway and his stock has definitely increased. But more importantly, we MUST keep our best players, whatever.
