To my mind he'd be a similar player to Holt and we could end up with the same issue in that while he has the skills the "rough and tumble" might be a bit too much,especially at this stage in his career👍

Half decent player in his day no doubts, but Rangers can't really afford another past it wasteful.
Much better to get a hungry youngster/championship player than a cast off.
