Sorry to put nails into coffins, but we should really be demolishing Coventry on Saturday.
I hope, though, that things will pick up for the Sky Blues in the New Year, as they are currently playing second fiddle to a team that plays with the wrong shaped ball at the Ricoh Arena. The fans and the city deserve better.
Posh need to win this game ahead of the game away to Scunthorpe next Tuesday, and to make up for the disappointing draw against Gillingham on Boxing Day.
It could be 5-1. I hope so, as I'll be going.
I'd like to see Angol score a confidence-boosting brace ahead of the Chelsea game: and Nichols needs (and deserves) to start putting away his chances. All his hard work frequently comes to nothing.
UTP!

Posh V Coventry
Does she stand a chance against 11 men now she has an OBE?

Good question! An even better one, though - how did she get an OBE?

I didn't know this, but according to the Posh website the Sky Blues front-man, Marvin Sordell, runs his own charitable foundation, which helps victims and those affected by people trafficking. He got the idea after reading an e-book on the coach to an away game. Good on him!
As for tomorrow's game, I was fearful that the Post-Christmas frost might jeopardise it. However, the weather is changing for the better, so here's looking forward in confidence to the game being played.

So much for the demolition job - a lethargic first-half Posh display and a goal scored by Coventry put paid to that.
I have to feel a tinge of sympathy for Coventry that they did not come away with a win, after their spirited first-half display. However, our equaliser was a beauty and we didn't really deserve to lose.
