Sadly in past years, the "cock-n-hens" were a force to be dealt with. The Blues-Glens games were always a highlight of the season with huge crowds in attendance. In recent years the Glens have become a mere footnote in N. Ireland football. This once great club, with great-name players, seems to be going nowhere.
They keep hiring and firing managers, but seem to be stuck in neutral. They have a great fan base which deserves more. Shame on the Board of Directors for letting this happen. No point in spending millions of tax-payer pounds on replacing the Oval until they earn it on the field!
Happy New Year to all!

Was at the boxing day fixture at Windsor and witnessed one of the poorest big two games I've seen and in front of a decent 8000 attendance.
Glens have been mismanaged for years and some of the stories coming out are truely embarrassing. From using grants for the kids teams to pay players and to pay "star" signings from the gate receipts in 10p and 20p coins.
There's little money in the league and once teams get into debt its almost impossible to manage and compete.
As a blue man I hope you pick up again. Not the same with crusaders and cliftonville and only will ever be the one big two rivalry.
Happy new year !
