So impressed with him this season. I must admit, I didn't think he'd be able to do the more defensive role he's sometimes been given, but he really is, as Mourinho said, United's "fireman", always in the right place and using the ball well.
He did make a mistake early on that let them in, and there were two wild shots into the Stretford End; otherwise he was impeccable.
The other guy who really deserves some praise this season is Valencia. I thought he was excellent today (his crossing does still have that aimlessness, though). He's a machine physically, almost impossible to knock off the ball and always an option going forward.
Herrera and Valencia

Still hasn't really been scoring and creating, though. And even when he's technically playing as a number six he's often on the edge of the box anyway.
It's my only criticsm, really, because I believe he can offer more in this department. Nevertheless, I'm happy with how he's performed this season.

His shooting - let's be honest - is pess poor.
And I'd agree with a point I read above (maybe it was yours?) in that it seems that he's been instructed to look for Pogba and the wide players in the final third, rather than going for riskier options himself.

He's capable of scoring, though. Eight and five in his first two seasons. Not big numbers, but much better than the one he has so far. Hopefully he'll chip in with a few more as the season goes on - we still need more goals from the rest of the team.
Yep I did make that point.

Herrera needs to work on his shooting more definitely but we need more goals from everyone in the team - including Zlatan who could be more clinical. Herrera needs to work on his shooting more definitely
We might be on a winning run (against mostly cannon fodder) but our rivals for top four are also on a winning run and keep scoring more goals than us and conceding less goals.
We have done twice in the past few seasons for GD. Thrice would be unimaginable.

More goals will come.
We've had three nothing short of incredible goalkeeping performances against us this season in games where we might otherwise have scored bucketloads; both Heaton and Grant made more than ten saves.
I also read that Pogba has now hit the woodwork six times so far this season. You couldn't do that if you tried
Thinking about it, I can remember off the top of my head Mata, Mkhi, Lingard, Ibra and Martial all hitting the frame as well. I wonder how many times we've done it so far.
I'm off stat-hunting. I'll be back...

...We've hit the woodwork twelve times in the PL so far this season, putting us second in the 'Hit the Woodwork' league, one behind Bournemouth.
So we're in contention for at least one title

Shades of Liverpool under King Kenny when they battered the woodwork and kept dropping points.

Was just about to say that.
They kept saying 'goals will come', ' one of these days a team would be in for a hiding' and ofc, the perennial favourite " ...our year''
None of those really came to pass FYI
We have to be more clinical and we are in dire need of goals. I think that is indisputable.
Ibra has been sensational and is so vital to our play and i know critiquing him here is tantamount to treason but with regards to scoring goals (not overall play), shades of Andy Cole about him

We can certainly be more clinical - we need to be.
But we're creating enough quality chances; bucketloads of them. And there's not a lot you can do when a keeper turns up and has a worldie against you.

Yeah Zlatan has turned into Giroud in front of goal at times.
Speaking of, Giroud just turned into Zlatan! Scorer a scorpian kick.
