Hi all,
I can see a few of you from BBC 606 have migrated here. Work, for some reason, have unblocked ja606 so I'm free to ramble on about football for hours on end on the internet whilst I should be working again.
Doing Sunderland for the first time tomorrow, travelling up tonight and staying until Sunday. Can anyone recommend any bars or pubs where Chelsea fans will be on Saturday before the game?
Heading out on the town in Newcastle Saturday night, let's just hope we'll be celebrating a Chelsea win.
Where to go Tomorrow?

Psshh, Sunderland won't win, I can't even remember the last time they beat us.

N3-0o, neither can I
Anyway, all of the pubs around The Stadium welcome 'away' fans, so you can go anywhere
As far as saturday night goes, you'd be better off going to Sheels ( South Shields ) which won't be full of skunks . . . . and is a good night out
There's always 'bother' in the Land of Darkness, but you might be okay if you're lucky . . . . I would still rather go to Sheels, though

Going out in Newcastle as a few of my mates are there from Uni so will be going where they do basically.
Cheers for the advice about pubs near the ground, should be a good game if last seasons were anyhting to go by.

I hope your weekend's not spoiled too much by what happens between 15:00 and 17:00 tomorrow

I don't suppose it was spoiled

Nope, was a bit nervy towards the end though.
We had a great view of Sturridge's goal as well.
The Stadium was a lot nicer than I thought it was going to be, one of the best I've been to.

I'm glad you enjoyed it but not completely
It was now't like last season's games, 'cos we were blinking rubbish . . . . we only looked like we were interested in injury time
I was at the other end, so didn't have a good view, and haven't seen it on tele, either - I suppose I will have to at some point
