Regardless of the result, I must say that I am truly impressed by Eddie's work at Bournemouth.
What impressed me most during yesterday's game is that you could very clearly see that Bournemouth had a plan.
Right from the word go, the players where constantly playing quick balls down the channels, to expose Arsenal's marauding fullbacks. It's something I haven't seen many other teams do against Arsenal but the big surprise for me is how tactically adaptable Eddie Howie is (something that cannot be said of Wenger)
I think the board could do little wrong than to get Eddie Howie to replace Arsene and Arsene to move up as technical director.
PS: is it just me or is this contract nonsense with Sanchez & Ozil beginning to impact the team? If I was Arsene I'd happily take 80m for Sanchez and 65m for Ozil now and invest it into committed players like Pjanic, Reus. Forget about the title, just get top4 again and go all out for the CL the one trophy missing on Arsene's cv.
Eddie Howie - welcome to Arsenal?

Sanchez is a fantastic player. At times last night he was playing Bournemouth on his own. Easily worth 60plus million in today's market and would walk into virtually any team, would take him over Neymar all day long.

Yes Sanchez is a top player and in the current market, I'd say there'd be a few teams in Europe who would pay that amount for him.
However, he has 12 months left on his contract so 60m is a ridiculous fee to expect. 40m max.

Love the Manc fans, spent close to half a billion on the squad since fergie left and now struggling for that top 4 spot

now that's what I call worried. Yeah we are really struggling for that top 4 spot. We are a massive 2 points off it in early January.

why does this fool Smalling_Jones_ keep saying Ozil and Sanchez have 12 months left on their contracts?

We are not worried at all. Spent close to 250 million on midfielders since Fergie left yet Carrick is still their best midfielder. Your transfer policy which is a shambles gives us hope, and that CEO of yours Ed Woodward

1000000000000% agree
Without him in the side we surely would have lost the game. He is a role model in determination, focus and work rate, consistency.

If you spend a billion pounds you might win the league at this rate.

Well Chineese may

Chinese clubs would probably bid £100m for Ozil

That's it boys keep them coming. If we weren't a threat there wouldn't any bites!!
I'm getting worried that we may not be able to pull that massive 3 points back from 3rd. I mean there's only 5 months of the season left!

I remember when Owen Coyle was at Bolton and they had a good season... he was the next Arsenal manager in many fans eyes
I like EH, but he needs another job before the Arsenal one IMO.
