Hibs v United on Friday

In what will be the biggest game in Scottish football in January, this Friday sees the mighty Terrors travel to Easter Road to face off against promotion contenders and league leaders Hibernian.

Sadly I'm unable to attend the game, but will be able to watch it on BBC Alba. However 2500 of my fellow Arabs will be part of the 20,000 sell-out crowd and I've got to say that's a fantastic crowd for a Friday night game on a BBC station.

I'm really looking forward to the game and I'm gutted I can't go. The atmosphere will be terrific and hopefully we can take something from the game. I'm not sure we will to be honest, I think Hibs have to be favourites to win the game, but our record against them is good so far this season and hopefully we can lift our game after the defeat at the weekend and take something from the match. I'd take a point if offered right now to be honest.

The big injury worry is Tony Andreu, who has a pulled muscle in his ribs and missed the game at the weekend. I'd like to see him back in the side. Beyond that, McKinnon does have options so it'll be interesting to see what team he selects.

Hibs will be buoyed by returning to the top of the league and have the option of playing new signing Chris Humphries.

I noted that the Tele was reporting that a decision has to be made on what to do with Cammy Smith - I really hope we keep hold of him as I really rate him as a player and I really don't understand why he doesn't get more game time.
