DUFC TRANSFER NEWS

The mighty Terrors are today taking their first (although hopefully not last) plunge into the transfer market in this January window by signing Danish forward Thomas Mikkelson from Odense on loan until the end of the season.

The 6ft 2 striker fits the bill for me and is exactly the type of player we've been crying out for in terms of his physical stature.

He hasn't exactly been prolific to date, and at 26 years old I doubt he's suddenly going to become a 20 goal a season man, but hopefully he can do a job and be a focal point for our attacks and, more importantly, bring others into play.

The deal should be completed today and Mikkelson could be available for the big game against Hibs tonight.
