Next Five League Fixtures

Hello. After the rip roaring success of my 35 comment article entitled "Next Five Fixtures" I have done another one

There I predicted 11 points from Middlesbrough, Stoke, Everton, City and Sunderland and the lads took a whopping 13 points back to Anfield. Good stuff. So what of the next five?

Man Utd (A)
Tough one this. They are in some form having won some on the bounce but in couple of those games they rode their luck a little. Still a win is a win and they have some good players. Looking at their back four of Valencia, Jones, Rojo and Blind (likely) we can get chances for sure. However the lads seem to freeze a bit against Utd and Jose is anti football. I'm going for a loss here as I'm not sure whether Henderson, Matip and Coutinho will be back and there is definitely no Mane. 0 points.

Swansea (H)
Home win all day long. 3 points

Chelsea (H)
Tough one. We play quite well against them lately and our home form is the best in the league in terms of being unbeaten. They have some very good players but it's under the lights and I fancy us for at least a draw.

Hull(A)
Away win here. They have just changed manager and have given away a whopping 9 penalties. Snodgrass can put in a cross but other than that I don't see the threat. Away win.

Spurs(H)
They have got their tails up but I don't see us losing at home. We should have all our players back so I'm going for a draw as they are hard to beat.

So 8 points is the prediction again.

I've gone 8 but most saying 10 so hope you're right.

Utd are giving away chances bur it's probably my least favourite match of the season.

I think we will lose to United and draw wth spurs but win rest

Considering we have City and Arsenal in March if we can stay 2nd until then we would be in a really strong position going into the last ten.

8 points out of 15 would be pretty much end of title race.

sure they are hard but we need to take 10 i think

Likewise, we've put in too many poor performances at Old Trafford. Of course there is the odd exception with the 1-4 and 0-3 under Moyes but apart from those we haven't even managed a draw in the league since about 2003, not good enough.

I agree we suffer a mental block against Utd.

Many of our worst performances in recent seasons have been against them.

It's not quite as desperate as Everton against us, but it's a similar problem.

Coutinho back in training and he's huge for us in this type of game because he has the nads to play anywhere.

Wouldn't shock me in the slightest if we drew at OT, beat Chelsea, lose to Swansea and Hull and beat Spurs

I look no further than the next PL game. With Couts Matip Sturr either all back or in contention, it's time to stick my neck out. There will be a bit of vengeance/revenge in their blood after what happened at Sunderland.

A win for LFC.
