comment by 50...feck Giroud (U1147)

The difference between this Giroud and the last few seasons Giroud is that he pops up with the goods when the team is playing awful.
Also the team should play more to his strengths, which is to put in more crosses in the box and hopefully Ramsey can start making those runs in the box again.

that's just down to luck. Start to have activity around him and alongside him. He needs activity in front of the box. Then he score. If you dont do that he looks static and out of the game.

Giroud does always have this phase in a season where he will score like 6-8 games in a row then go on a bad run for a few months. Really hope he can keep on being consistent.

Wenger should get a mobile defensive midfielder who is fast this transfer window and play him alongside Xhaka. Because with Ramsey playing there, we will certainly be shipping goals in against smaller sides let alone bigger clubs, unless there is good news about Coquelin coming back against Swansea, which i doubt very much.

Yes Xhaka was really sloppy today.

Missed the pace and power of Welbeck. This is hoping he stays fit.

Xhaka, Mustafi, the Ox were horrible tonight. Ramsey a bit better in the second half but need more consistency in his whole actions.

Giroud's interview - They were surprised how Preston came out to play

Few years back this type of game would have been a re-play to pile up the fixture list in Jan/Feb. 😀
