With Wenger being depleted of options at CM, Ramsey will be getting his chance in the middle of the park, pretty much by default.
The criticism and to be frank, hate, the player gets is beyond astounding in my humble opinion.
I agree his development has stalled recently, especially going by his performances in club colours, but there is no doubt that he's a valuable member in this squad. In some ways, he's the victim of his own qualities as his versatility and intelligence means Wenger has often shifted him on the right hand side.
Not to mention, fitness and luck haven't been on his side either.
I'm not his biggest fan by any means, but used to be shocked at the widespread over-criticism. He's got the potential to be a very good player for us, just needs to be consistent and cut out the silly flicks/passes in dangerous positions. In terms of his skillset and attributes, there are few players who are as well rounded as he is.
Hopefully now that he's in the middle of the park and with a top footballer in Xhaka alongside him, he'll come into some form.
I just think the fans need to go easy on the players at times. I am now (for the first time) a season ticket holder at the emirates, and the groans and moans can be so toxic sometimes. We can't have 11 Alexis Sanchez's on the pitch. It doesn't help to exaggerate a players's lack of form and weaknesses, and then label him a bad player.
Here's hoping he proves the doubters wrong.
PS Watch how he gets injured within seconds now
Ramsey's chance to shine

Please quit with the hyperbole... shouldn't be anywhere near our first eleven when everyone is fit.

Yeah what kind of idiot uses hyperbole to make a point? Probably the stupidest person in the ENTIRE world.

I don't see how Aaron Ramsey is a "very very good player" either - aside from the purple patch he had for us a while ago he can barely hit a barn door from 10 yards, he is not good in the air and has no pace - yes he has a decent pass but he has been pi$$-poor for us recently and is not worth a first team place.
People who say how well he plays for Wales are delusional, international football is a lower standard.
Ramsey has mentioned more than once said how he wants to leave us and go and play abroad in the future - if a decent offer came in for him in the summer I'd let him go sooner than he anticipated...

50m Rambo was touted after the Euros. You could not make it up yet the papers clearly did.

I should have said this before the game as Ramsey would have then scored in the first half as well !

Ramsey has played well consistently for a couple years now. Big concern imo, his stock has fallen, so he aint going anywhere.
