What the fack are you gonna do then? If thats what they want then you're going have to provide it. My friend It's standard protocol. Have you even liaised with there customer services regarding this matter? You seem so skeptical about this company although you have provided your personal details to them already?

I setup an online betting account a week before eu vote, was seriously close to putting several hundred ££'s on remain, as I could not envisage the leave camp winning. Thought it would be like the Scots Indy vote - close, but when push came to shove the majority wouldn't fancy the risk. Fortunately I never staked anything, and haven't touched the account since.

I shorted the pound during indy ref trying to cash in on uncertainty and lost money, shorted the euro during Greece crisis, lost money when they got bailed rapidly. Didn't short pound pre Brexit. Was convinced of a remain. Post Brexit shorted ftse and went long Krone. Lost money.

I've had it before. Nothing untoward when it is high street booliew, albeit that company is not one I have heard of.
When I was heavy banned on financial betting platforms, I once made the mistake of signing up for a scam site based in the Belize. When it came time for me to withdraw, they wanted a credit card authorisation form that would allow them to withdraw money from my card without my approval. I declined and wrote off the cash but they sold my details on to a mugs list and I get multiple phone calls per week from "trading platforms" with "fool proof" strategies.

You wouldn't get that nonsense with hititbet ......

I got asked for photo id for the sun fantasy football. I took a photo of my passport, emailed it to them and it was resolved in 10/15 minutes

I had a similar problem with Coral about 4 years ago where they asked for verification documents on my bank etc.
I sent a letter of complaint about how if they had any concerns around who I was or that perhaps my account was being used fraudulently then they should not have been taking withdrawals from my account when I was going to place a bet and basically told them that there rules and regulations on KYC were flawed.
I received my cash within 2 days of that letter being delivered and also a £100 free bet for my complaint.
I lost the £100 free bet

It is standard practice, always check the terms and conditions. The thing is they are happy to TAKE your money without checking ID only when they need to pay you out.
