We've only brought in 4 strikers in that time. One was a flop. The other is looking like a flop. And then there's Adebayor and Saha who you could argue for or against being successes, if you count Ade's loan spell as well.

Then we have Kane from our academy who has been an unequivocal success so far who somewhat negates the disappointment of the others.

Spurs haven't signed any decent striker since Berbatov

Some would consider Defoe a decent striker. No worse than Giroud really.

I'm not even a fan of Giroud but that is ridiculous 😂

Defoe spent most of his 2nd spell at Spurs being benched by Van Der Vaart who wasn't even a striker

Even without decent strikers they have comfortably been better than West shambles
