England V India Odi's

Ok, it's a bit stale on here so I thought it would be better to get an article up early that actually allows more than just U2 to comment and debate...

England continue to improve in this format but this will definitely be their biggest challenge to date.

The visitors welcome back both Hales and Morgan with both expected to come straight back into the side and Joe Root will return to the side after his son's birth.

Personally I would like to see this side play against India but there's no chance of Morgan being dropped despite scoring 3 runs and facing 7 balls in 2 warm up games...

Roy
Hales
Root
Billings
Stokes
Buttler (wk)
Ali
Dawson
Woakes
Willey
Rashid

Jake Ball will push Willey and Woakes for a place in the side though given his decent performances in Bangladesh.

I'm hoping for a closer series than the Tests and at least these games start at a reasonable UK time too. I'm predicting a 2-1 win for India.

Be great to get perspective of the Indian fans on here so I can add to the article.

Await your 1 stars with interest

Annihilation...but.....I remember watching India in England last tour...same happened. Wish both could go to a neutral venue..maybe a trip to Barbados?? I'll be up for that .

Fail to understand why every Stokes dismissal needs to be rechecked or referred to the 3rd umpire, whether for a no ball as in Mishra's case in the 2nd T20I or in case of Raina's case when he took a wonderful catch, maintained his balance, regained his ground and composure to send Stokes on his way.

Is the burly England all rounder so special or greater than the game itself? I wonder to be given such exclusive special treatment by the umpires. The same umpires did not bother to recheck when Rahul was dismissed off a no-ball and we obviously do not have Morgan complaining for that lucky breakthrough!

England got another umpiring gaffe...Do not recollect Kohli whining like Morgan did after England's narrow loss in the 2nd T20I..

Good to see us go for the win throughout this series. Kohli's attitude is the biggest difference. He is also clever in resting our main bowlers and thinking long term.

Facty,

Didn't comment on the game at all yesterday. Didn't watch it, not seen the incident your talking about. But read it was a shocker

England won the toss in 8 of the 11 games on this tour and all wickets were relatively fair - Mumbai aside probably. Very happy with our spinners yesterday as well: Jadeja and Ashwin didn't even start. Strength in depth looks very good in Mishra, Chahal and also pleased for Pant to get his first international start.
