Are you a fan?
Have your club been on the better or worse end of it? (overall)
I think Chelsea have had mixed success in the January window.
The good………..Cahill, Anelka and Luiz
The bad…………Maniche (although was only a loan)
The Feckin Awful…………. Torres
But on the other hand we got a seriously amazing fee for Oscar in the January Transfer window, and Ramires’ fee wasn’t too shabby if I’m right?
The January Transfer Window.......

off the top of my head, Walcott, arshavin, arteta? Mertasacker, Elneny.....
don't see why there are windows at all, why not have it all year round. seems to me its just a way of TV/media condensing the hype for 2 separate periods of a year.

Arteta and Mertesacker were signed in august. From the current squad Gabriel, Monreal, Elneny, Walcott were bought in January

Happy New Year to ya Edinspur.
It’s probably my silly memory playing tricks on me and I can’t be bothered to google, but did you re-sign Robbie Keane in the January
Window?
What a fantastic player he’s been.
I think I remember hearing the Ireland/Holland second leg to qualify for a tournament (it may have even been Euro 96) And either Quinn or Aldridge was trying to either equal or become Ireland’s all time record scorer on something like 19 goals?!
Keane has obliterated that total. I genuinely feared the worst when he went to Pool.

I'd like to see the Summer window extended by another 4 weeks to the end of October. That way you're a bit further into season and get a better perspective on players and teams.
Then keep the Jan window for emergency loans only.
The squad you settle on at end of October has to be it.
I don't like how teams can buy their way out of trouble and cherry pick the lesser clubs players mid season. In summer fair enough as they get a proper chance to replace them.
Jan window isn't fair in my opinion. It must give teams scrapping near bottom of Prem sleepless nights.

IMO its not a great thing. Its there for clubs who have issues more than anything and really only the summer window really works.
LFC have had great times and barren times in it.
Rafa Benetiz picked up a couple good uns like arbeloa and maschernao but a lot of dross. Rogers got coutinho and sturridge one year.
but in general its quite hard to part a decent player from his club.
Actually its more about young lads clubs are willing to offload to balance the books.
Everton have bought one this window.

I am in favour of it being open for one week only.....still about 5 days of nothing happening to be fair

I'd like it more if we signed someone.

If we do sign anyone it's a kid who's then loaned back to the selling club until the summer.

Not really. You usually can't sign anyone good since no one is wants to well mid season and most good players are cup tied for the cl anyway.
