I am gutted about this.
I am Captain of the golf society this year and the 26th is our first outing of the new season.
Difficult decision but I think I have to go to the match.

I see the persuasive DF has secured one of Man City's young goalkeepers on a permanent deal. So we shall have 3 competing for a first team place. There do seem to be 4(!!!) ahead of him for the PL spot at City, so it probably made sense for him to seek a move. I feel a bit sorry for Marosi, but for the team, competition for (a) place(s) is obviously healthy, if a bit tough on Goalies. Does anyone else remember when (I think it was Nimmo) was often the sub in the days when you could only have one - and he could play out-field as a sort of forward as well as in goal?

I am hoping to go to Barnet tomorrow, weather permitting and if Lawlor plays he will be returning to a club where he was on loan last season.

Looking forward to going to Barnet tomorrow. First game my son and I planned to go to after we found out about my little problem. Don't know who will play in the nets, but, as I was told at the pompey game, this club is looking well into the future. So yet another top young talent signed on the dotted line.

"Not be long till your back in championship young en" said the old man, then with a smile n a wink he left.

Don, if we are fifteen points clear at the top I will still have to go to the game.

Because the fixture list hadn't been circulated to society members the Secretary has informed me that "he had made an error" and our first outing is on 19th March, not 26th.
