If loving Giroud is so wrong then I don't want to be right.
For all his many critics that bloke has been consistently decent from the moment we've signed him.
Almost a goal every 2 games man. Has scored against all the top sides (apart from Chelsea who as we all know are terrible cheats so it doesn't count). Never moans and just gets on with it.
I'd ditch my missus in a heartbeat if he gave me the glad eye
Giroud man love

Neither of the blogs are very analytical to be honest. Its a lot of opinion. I prefer analysts who are good enough to be employed by a national paper who can backup their opinion with statistical analysis.
In my opinion the second blog is very poor. Surely Giroud has played against more than enough teams, and it was obvious after the first season when I wrote that Giroud would be most affective in a 4-4-2 (so if I could see it certainly Wenger could as well), but we were buying the likes of Ozil who does not suit that style at all. Whats more Arsenal would have so little possession with a 2 man midfield that Giroud would have to perform on level with Ibra in clinical finishing. So what would change by playing Giroud as a starter compared to the last 3 years? Even if you pick and choose the opposition?
The analysis by the Telegraph is very accurate it because it answers many questions and backs up a lot of what many of us have felt for a long time. I think 'I am gooner' was one of the first who talked of Giroud lack of physical durability and how he is most affective when fresh. You have a lot of evidence to back up that assertion. Surely the best way to keep him that way is to use him as a super sub. It also helps when the opposition defences tire and drop deeper towards their own goal allowing Giroud to be in the box compared to how he is taken out of the game easily if opposing defenders push and squeeze play in our half by employing a high press!

At least Arsenal found the last article worthy to publish it on their home page.
Didnt read through the article tbh but why some think that stats tells you the whole truth is really beyond me. It's a general statement not only refering to this article.

Not quite the same thing gt. Arsenal.com are a PR arm of the club. They will never publish anything that even slightly criticises how Wenger uses his players.

As if you had to explain that.

That is probably true but maybe the article speaks for itself and is right.

We agree on something, stats do not tell the whole truth.
